Hello boys and girls. I am extremely delighted to welcome you all back to school in the Autumn of 2022!! I am so excited to hear what you have all been up to during the Summer holiday period and can't wait to see you on our first day back. Below is a list of key information regarding the upcoming academic year.
Class Information - Mr Seamons
PE days : Tuesday & Friday - Pupils are to wear P.E. kits into school on this day.
Homework : Homework will be posted using Google Classroom with dates provided for when tasks are to be completed.
Spellings : A spelling list will be given out weekly for your child to learn for a spelling test each week.
Times tables : Your child will be instructed to learn a specific multiplication table throughout the week for a test on Friday each week. The aim for will be to achieve at least 9 out of 10 in order to progress to the next multiplication table.
Reading books : Your child will be provided with reading material in the form of a comic, novel, annual etc from the school. They will be expected to read both in school and at home and will be instructed to bring their books in on a specific day each week. However, pupils can change their books when completed at any time.

Year 6 will be using Google's G-suite for education to enhance their learning and complete tasks both in school and at home. Your children have their account details and work will be set via Google Classroom. Below is a useful link to see the benefits of using this platform and for those who are unsure.
