Summer term - Darwin's Delights
We’re off on an exciting expedition with Charles Darwin and his crew on HMS Beagle. Can you trace his route across the vast ocean? Stop at the magical Galápagos Islands to see the amazing species that helped Charles Darwin to develop his theory of evolution by natural selection. Do you know what’s so special about a lava lizard, or why the blue-footed booby has blue feet? PE days : Wednesday & Friday - Pupils are to wear P.E. kits into school on this day.
Reading books : Your child will be provided with reading material in the form of a comic, novel, annual etc from the school. They will be reading in school, but if you could help and encourage your child to read while at home that would be really helpful, thank you!
Year 5 and 6 will be using Google's G-suite for education to enhance their learning and complete tasks both in school and at home. Your children have their account details and work will be set via Google Classroom. Below is a useful link to see the benefits of using this platform and for those who are unsure.
