Welcome to Class 5, Year 3!

In Year 3 we have two classes. The teachers are:

• Miss Bidgood (Class 5)
• Mrs Allin (Class 6)
• Our TA is Mr Manning.

Other information:

• P.E days are Monday (indoor) and Friday (outdoor).  Children are to wear their P.E kits to school on the above days.  They will need warm outdoor clothing (wear layers) and trainers.  Earrings need to be taken out on these days unless they are able to take them out themselves prior to the session. 

• Fruit: The children may have a fruit snack at playtime. You are free to send your own fruit or you can purchase it at Mrs Allins' fruit shop. The fruit costs 20p per day or you can pay £1 for the week.

• Reading books: Your child will be provided with a reading book in school or they may choose their own from home. They will be expected to read at home and will be instructed to bring their books in on a specific day each week. However, pupils can change their books when completed at any time.

Potions

In Year 3, we’ll explore the magical world of potions, just like at Hogwarts! We’ll mix up potion recipes, learn fun rhymes, and even create magical art. Along the way, we’ll discover the science behind states of matter and how they play a role in potion-making. From Polyjuice Potion to Felix Felicis, this topic is full of adventure and magic. Get ready to unlock your magical potential and have fun brewing up your own spells!
