Dinosaur Roar!
This half term we will be kicking off our Dinosaur Roar topic with a trip back in time to Fonmon Castle to visit the dinosaurs and find out all about the different species. In class we will be learning about the different types of dinosaurs and their features, comparing carnivores to herbivores and taking about what they ate. We will be looking at dinosaurs on land and creatures from the sea from over 66 millions years ago. We will have chance to study some fossils and find out about a special lady called Mary Anning and her contribution to the discovery of many fossils. We will end out topic with a special Dino Fun Day for the children before we break up for the summer holidays. Below is an overview of the skills and activities we will be covering as well as an overview of our Jigsaw lessons.
