Welcome to Year 3! We have two classes.

The teachers are Mrs Allin (Class 7) and Ms Poulakis (Class 6).

SEESAW

Please make sure you have signed up for SEESAW.  If you need a code please let us have your email address to forward a link.

Seesaw is our main source of class communication.  We send class announcements, messages and share work and pictures.

Other communication will be via a school text message or newsletter so please ensure we have your telephone number.

P.E days

Our P.E days are Monday (indoor) and Friday (outdoor)

Children are to wear their P.E kits to school on the above days.

They will need warm outdoor clothing (wear layers) and trainers.

Earrings need to be taken out on these days unless they are able to take them out themselves prior to the session.

What else do you need to know

• Reading books are to be brought into school on Monday and will be returned by Thursday.
• You can send a fruit or veg snack in for morning break. Fruit and veg can also be purchased from school for 20p per day. Friday we have FUN FRUIT FRIDAY to try fruits such as melon and pineapple.
• Communication regarding homework, news and updates about your child learning will be through SEESAW so make sure you get your QR code and download the SEESAW family app.

Summer Term

This term our topic is 'The Great Outdoors'. We have a main focus of Science and Expressive Arts over the term.  The children will be learning about different animals and their habitats and the features and functions of plants.  Our expressive arts will look at the work of different artists, their different styles, use of media and the mood the artists are creating.
